Agreement Terms

A nonrefundable exhibit space fee of $100 due 6 weeks in advance of show.

The exhibit space will be open during normal working hours at Grand Living Realty Monday– Saturday. Any exception must be approved o by the Curator.

Length of show is 6 weeks. Installation will take place after 5:00 PM on a Wednesday and the opening reception is the following Sunday. The take-down date will be the Sunday at end of the 6-week show. (Addendum 2)

Artwork must be presentation quality and wired if flat work. Standalone pieces like sculpture must be stable.  Gallery reserves the right to refuse unstable or improperly wired artwork.

Artist will be responsible for installation of artwork. Curators will assist with installation and placement of the work. The Gallery provides a wall hanging system and ladders will be available.

Artist will provide wall tags for their art, using standard business-card size paper (2 x 3½ inches) for each piece of artwork at time of installation. Include title of work, name of artist, the medium, and selling price on each tag. For a group show, wall tag appearance and style must be alike for all artists in the show.

Artist will provide an inventory of work in the show including title of work, name of artist, medium and selling price.

Artist will provide a show flyer 5 weeks in advance of show for promotional use. (Addendum 2)

Artist will provide a short digital bio and at least two examples of their work in jpeg format for inclusion on the Expressions Gallery website.

No photos of artwork allowed without permission of the artist or curator.

Artist will comply with terms of the Agreement and will self-insure for any damage that may occur while artwork is on display.

Sales

Front desk will manage sales during business hours, accepting cash or checks only. Checks will be payable to artists name on wall tag. Selling price equal to amount recorded on art inventory and wall tag.

Gallery will notify Artist of sales. Buyer may take work at the time of sale.

Artist may replace removed/sold artwork with another piece and update inventory with replacement information.

No sales commission taken on Artist sales.

Gallery will pay artist for sales at take-down.  Artist assumes sales tax responsibility.

Promotion

Expressions Gallery will promote the show through its sizeable email list and website.

Grand Living Realty will promote on their Facebook page.

Artist will promote the show through available avenues including various online social and news organizations, such as Facebook, Next Door, artist personal email, various art organizations, Ormond Beach and Palm Coast Observer, Flagler/Palm Coast News Tribune, or Daytona Beach News Journal.

Opening Event

Reception scheduled on the first Sunday after installation of work.

Reception begins at 1:00 PM and ends at 3:30 PM.

Any beverages and snacks will be set up in the reception room at the rear of the building. The patio area is available when weather permits. Artist will provide beverages, snacks, and tableware for serving.
